Yes I am really digging this game. This type of shooter is a nice change from all the "realistic" military type shooters. Also, this is the first time I'm looking forward to not just playing local multiplayer but online as well. It's Mario Kart 8's fault! Hope their will be bigger maps with maybe options for 6v6, 8v8, 12v12 and even 16v16.

Looks like grand fun, and it's awesome to see a creative new IP from Nintendo.
If it has a single player campaign, I'll buy it.

Splatoon is going to be awesome! It was confirmed to have a single-player campaign and online multiplayer will be tons of fun!

It has! I also hope it supports 4-player local multiplayer. It's great that Nintendo is giving us an online experience, but they shouldn't forget about their philosophy of couch play with friends.

By the way, is anyone else getting Jet Set Radio vibes from this game?

In an IGN interview the directors said they were looking to put a single player mode and local multiplayer.


They better if they plan on selling this for $60!
