Not sure if good or bad for Tomodachi. It's an unproven IP and I don't expect much, but it's still Nintendo-published and that alone tends to net a lot of sales. I'll look for legs before I decide.

Also, Murdered didn't do very well; and pretty brutal drops for Watch Dogs & Mario Kart. Meh.

I don't know...I mean, just look at Watch Dogs. It's selling better on the new gen but the drop is much worse which shows that at least for this game, the percentual gap between sales on new and old gen is decreasing after launch. 360 version of Watch Dog is already in front of Xbox One version in this week...
Didn't really follow sales of other games so that is not really a fact but I think it sems like new gen games are much more front-loaded and over the long run, sales of the last gen version don't do too bad vs. new gen.
If the ratio is maybe 4:1 in week one but decreasing the weeks after, the whole gap is maybe ony 2:1 after some months (as theoretical numbers) and then, developers should be happy to have a last gen version out

MK8 with a huge drop as well but so do most games including watch dogs.. Week 3 sales shall be interesting

Edit: Only with Nintendo are games bomb/flop to you. And taking jabs at MK8 everytime you get the chance doesn't help the argument for your biased
