Okay, which are the big XBO exclusives? Forza 5 and ...? Titanfall: not exclusive Dead Rising 3: not exclusive PvZ: Garden Warfare: not exclusive |
Dead rising 3 is an exclusive to xbox one.. its not avaialble and won't be available on ps4 as MS published it. then you have ryse, titanfall. the first titanfall is still an xbox one exclusives (console exclusives ) as its only available on MS consoles and max curse brotherhood. . Those would be the big ones. not countingn the other exclusives which they have. At this moment Ps4 has the ones . Those are the only first party AAA. The next one we know is drive club and TLOU which has already been on ps3. iThe rest are jsut indies and multiplats which make the mmajority of ps4 library. haven't touched ps4 since ISS and now will try Trine 2 .

I wont deny that its a Sony funded commercial and that it promotes Sony's brand. Most of the people who know about this game know its multiplat anyway. I dont think Watchdogs really affected PS4 sales that much. Most people who are buying multiplats are headed in the direction of PS4 anyway.

It was the cheapest option, but also the more superior option for consoles as it were.

Microsoft published Mass Effect on the Xbox 360, but that game still ended up on the PS3. It all depends on the company who owns the IP. I doubt Microsoft has a contract to keep Dead Rising away from Sony. Dead Rising 2 was on the PS3 platform.

or maybe both were. I'll go for the latter. |
Hahaha of course you would. NPD will tell the tale though. BenV seems to indicate that PS4 is up over April, which makes that unlikely.
Add to that the fact that for 2014 vgc has been consistently overtracking xb1, and often undertracking ps4.
It will be hilarious if the xb1 numbers are even worse than vgc (per usual).

..and thats what we are talking about here, one's opinion doesnt necessarily equate to global opinion. The only exclusives I've purchased so far is ISS and KZ (in terms of the AAA), while none of those on wii-u or XBO appeal to me except for Dead Rising 3, but I wasnt going to pay £429 for that one game. I do however have about 14 3rd party games. People seem to think its either a numbers game or the console with the most exclusives, and it really isnt....especially if those exclusives dont appeal... but to move a person to buy a console it has to be a OTT special game... for example Sunset Overdrive does not do it for me at all, looks colourful but would not make me buy a console. Just because it's exclusive doesnt make the console more appealing. Now an Alan Wake game, that might do it for me. |
Fair enough. on the xboxon ei got ryse, forza, D, titanfall max, crimson dragon while on ps4 just kz and ISS in terms of AAA. I do have thrid party games but they are xbox one . i chose xbox one for multiplats beause i prefer teh controller nad i prefer getting achievement points then trophies and for me the difference in visual quality between multiplat games are small and not game breaking. hence why i got watch dogs on xbox one rather then ps4 as to me the difference between the two resolution is small. Fair enough i boght the ps because i love colletcing consoles. i will; be soon acquiring teh WII U to complete the set.If i was a conscious gamer and on a tight budget ,, the number of exclusoives would matter mainly the first party AAA exclsuives. . indies don't do it for me

Still, PS4 has much more more " consoles/Sony exclusives" and more real exclusives than One and indies/multiplats are majority of the library for both.
It's not about opinion, it's fact.
You can be a fan and prefer one library rather than other but that is an other question.
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
