Dead Rising 3: not exclusive

PvZ: Garden Warfare: not exclusive

DR3 is an X1 exclusive but like the other ones its nowhere near Infamous: Second Son in terms of quality.

You need to reread the OP as this post is completely irrelevant to the topic.

It's about the hardware boost, not SW sales.

Disagreee, watchdogs is a huge game, any hiuge Multiplat will boost some hardware. Wait until GTA drops.

60 minutes of bonus content is no indicator of full exclusivity.

Probably, XOne is usually overtracked, wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

I'll go for the latter.

Why would you think that PS4 is overtracked when we have official UK sales putting the increase at 96%. It would actually be more reasonable that PS4 is undertracked. Only a few days until we find out true numbers from NPD.

3 - The redeeming factor for the moth of May for XB1 is that they announced a price drop for June 9th a couple of weeks ago, so they may have some built-up sales in June for that week... a certain number of people have been waiting for a kinect free XB1 for a while!

4 - Wii U got a huge bump from Mario Kart 8! Now I still think the Wii U is grossly overpriced for what it has to offer, Nintendo should do a version of the system they sell for 250$ with a 500GB internal drive + the classic controller instead of the one with the second screen.... I may get it for Zelda, if it seems to be any good.

I'm glad you didn't explain it in a black and white point of view like the OP. Glad to see context behind obvious situations.

We need to redefine exclusives ? I think we all agree exclusive are games on only one platform ( this is a bit why Vita has been trolled during 2 first years but if games that are not on 3DS are exclusives, Vita would have an insane amount of exclusives)



Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

108 vertical pixels, exclusive marketing, bundles.

Watch_Dogs is no reason to choose a X1 over a PS4, but the game sold very well to those that have a X1 as their primary system.

People just change the meaning when it fits their situation better.

Disagree with what? lol

1. You were off-topic. That's a fact, so disagreeing isn't possible.
2. I never said huge multiplats aren't boosting hardware, so there's nothing to disagree with either.
3. Exclusive bundles help selling hardware. You can disagree with that in theory, but I would ask myself why, since that's such an obvious claim.
