XB1 only went up 27% while PS4 jumped 54%. And the thing is XB1 and Wii U should both be crushing PS4 because they both have better exclusives than PS4 does. Even Wii U I get not selling as much because of the huge drought last year but that's done now. XB1 literally has the same games as PS4 just that it has better exclusives. And then Wii U did have the largest jump but still didn't beat the PS4. I think it will next week

Well this is the problem, in one person's mind they believe something is better, but others have a different point of view.
Now this isnt meant as a dig to Nintendo players, but personally I find Nintendo games more kiddy and aimed at the younger market.. they are just not for me. So it doesnt matter what Nintendo bring out, I am just not interested in Animal Crossing, Pokemon or Mario Kart.. If they brought out 100 of these games - I still wouldnt be interested, so the number does not matter.
Then we have hardware, the Wii-u hardware is a bit of a joke really for anyone who is heavily invested in last gen..the hardware isnt considered jumping up to. Even more so if you dont care about the games from said platform.
3rd party, like it or not, many gamers get their games from the 3rd party catalogue, the COD's, GTA's etc etc... the majority of games people buy are 3rd party, the first party stuff is like extra topping. Nintendo has failed at 3rd party for a while.
As for the XB1 jump, ...well we shall see. It's common knowledge that Watch_dogs sold more on PS4 and so would have shifted more consoles. As the XBO is getting a price cut this month, all these things will make a massive difference to those percentages... so it wouldnt be a surprise if PS4 shifted more consoles.
