No one would believe the release parity clause either if it never leaked out. It's just a really dumb thing MS does to companies. And a simple google search for "microsoft graphics parity" should show you plenty of information on it.

Googled it, found nothing but the ID@XBOX parity and a forum post. Yup, B.S.
Just more proof of how awesome and talented EA devs can be sometimes!

Its not as if 1080p v 900p has any discernible difference. |
Maybe not to you, but i can sure as hell see the difference :P
Push come to shove though i'd rather 900p with good AA over 1080p with crappy AA (Ryse IQ > Forza 5 IQ). Both would be even better of course, but sadly inFamous comprises the entire list of major games that have thus far achieved that, which is disappointing.

Maybe the 4xMSAA confused them. The jaggies weren't as prevalent.

I googled it. I wasnt aware one GAF thread in which the author was instantly corrected or a GameFAQS conspiracy thread qualifies as "plenty of information".
It would not be a big surprise that MS is doing all they can to have parity so the system can look on par with PS, they PR do all they can to make people buy into that bs, moneyhat for parity would be easy money for the publisher and could remain secret...
Or maybe they just code for xb1 first and port to ps4 without any effort to optimise.
RIP ps3, xbox360.
welcome home ps4 and X1

This is a resolution war, not a MSAA war.

The problem with this argument is MS has done a terrible job getting publishers to abide by it. Hence, no validity.
