Vita get doom thread even before it released not like wii u



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Vita was doomed to hell and back in its' first year or so. There's really no point in it now. Everyon, including Sony, have already accepted the console for what it is.

Not true. People tend to notice when someone talks bad about their favourite company and ignore when it's the other way around. A simple look at polls about your favourite company/favourite game/favourite upcoming game etc would show you that there are just as many ninty fans as Sony, if not more. You must have forgotten all the "3ds outsold psvita 30:1" threads. Or do those not count?

These are two different situations AND stakes.

Wii U is a home console, it cost 5x times more in investment and stakes. PSVITA is a portable console based on past hardware/platform.

The PSVITA is doomed because portable consoles are doomed generally due to mobile gaming.

Another element I forgot: The Wii dominated last gen, which had a whole bunch of Internet hardkore gamerz catching feelings. So naturally those people will be a little extra excited if the successor to that console doesn't fare as well. To make a sports analogy, it would be kind of like someone rooting for the Heat to fail just because they have won the last two NBA titles.

Hmmm....
1. People had low expectations for Vita since 2012.
2. NO 1 Currr
3. Vita had all its doom threads in 2012, you must have been sleeping.
4. To a lot of people Vita is already dead.
5. Vita has been outselling the Wii U in 2014 up until now
6. Japan will single handedly keep the Vita alive. The next 2 months should be interesting
7. No 1 Currr

Its like asking why are there no doom threads for Vita TV or Ouya
