Just judge it looks awful.. That way you won't expect too much from it and it might be actually be ok.. But since its a Sonic game it could even be worse and the game will take the soul of your first born..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Not very impressed to be honest. After my disappointment with Lost World, I'm not sure I will be playing this. maybe for free with another distibution from Nintendo.

Ok, Im torn. It doesnt look bad, but for something featuring Sonic .... What is this doing for Sonic fans? and I dont mean that in a elistist way just If you really needed to get your Sonic fix, would this game accomplish that?
I only watched the Wii U video so far.
It doesn't look bad... It just doesn't look Ratchet & Clank + Jak & Daxter + Uncharted.
It looks good but I don't think it plays too well.. Urgh. I feel like I'm going to have to wait another 2 years. It depends on what Sonic Team is doing right now, though. I don't really like the voice acting at all by the way. The slow dialogue doesn't feel like Sonic at all..

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will deliver a different experience than past titles. The detailed levels and emphasis on each character’s unique abilities will showcase the distinctive feel of an action- adventure game, giving players more choice in exploration as they work as a team to stop the deadly snake-like ancient villain, Lyric, before he can power up his army. The gameplay will challenge players with over-the-top speed runs, but the heart of the game will focus on intense combat and brand-new abilities including the Enerbeam. This new feature in the game gives players an energy-charged cord that can be used by characters to navigate the world like never before. Players will be able to swing or zip-line across gaps, explore alternate paths, grab and throw enemies and take away their shields in combat.
Looks awesome!

Yeah, thats pretty much what I was thinking. It looks pretty decent but not very Sonic-like (which could be a good thing)
