E3 is hard to lose, more often it's just stalemates unless someone pulls out a great surprise reveal or drops an unmitigated disaster.

OT: You have good points. The hd consoles of last gen and super hd consoles this gen heavily rely on 3rd parties to push major hardware. Knowing the hardcore gamers; they might as well not release exclusives and still do alright in terms of sales.

This has been discussed a lot on these forums.

It truly would depend on what you mean by 'win' E3. For example, a release date for TLG would make the session a personal win for some gamers on forums. But it would have next to nil effect on sales of the console or library arguments where mainstream gamers are concerned.

People talk about the PS4 does not have games that are worth the investment.
I wonder what the top selling games on the PS3 annually. Exactly: Call of Duty, Assasssin Creed, battlefiled, FIFA, Madden, among others.
These games are available for PS4.
Now PS4 needs a Rockstar game (action Game GTA-Like) and Bethesda Softworks game (RPG-like), to move-core gamers (or a good portion) to the new system.
The Sony exclusive games have never been the best seller in their platform, Gran Turismo has been in the past, but GT6 lost power commercially.
Uncharted, God of War, Last of Us will appear in the PS4 as GT7, but the most and the biggests selleres of PS always been the multiplats from third-parties. Sony has the best machine for multiplats, that will give them to a great advantage in this generation compared to the XO.

And with this they will absorb a large part of the core-gamers, hardcore-gamers and gamers (in general) for their platform.
