Yes, it was that way for it's first few seasons until Americans decided that a team getting nothing after drawing for 90 minutes wasn't fair. On the other hand, I went to a Fire match against the Vancouver Whitecaps and it ended in a scintillating 0-0 draw. Both teams got a point. Not sure if they should have.
