We finished 17th, which was seen as a succesful season due to our budget. Big problems though. We went 10 games without a win, just before we managed to win 2 of our last 3. 6 goals in 3 games and only losing one of them to the champions.

I think the late resurgence gave our chairman hope that we could push on in the new season with our younger players coming through, but we decided to buy midfielders instead of a central defender we are desperate for and our manager started the game with people out of position. His head had gone.

I was at the game on Saturday and it was literally the worst defensive performance Ive ever seen from them.

Should have got rid after the 10 game run wihtout a win.
