I agree, but when a Sony games isn't ready, it simply isn't released.

Thats true for the most part...but sometimes i think it's necessary to stick to time lines. ND were not happy when they released U3...but if they didnt release U3 when they did, they would have delayed to the beginning of the following year, which would have a negative impact on sales imo.

Little big planet 2 was delayed to release after the holidays and that had an impact on its sales.

So yeah i think they need to strike a balance between giving the developers freedom and towing the line with meeting certain timeframes.

Don't you think publishers (Sony) are afraid to death after what happened to BF4? Especially with a new IP from an unknown studio (The Order is Ready at Dawn's first big game) a broken game could kill of a franchise in an instant.

One of my most anticipated games of the year. Hope it turns out well.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Fuck these 'insiders'. I want a proper preview.

And everyone is fearing 2015 now, so... 2014 after all? I can't follow this anymore.

Any time this year is fine with me.

Disappointing how Sony has handled the transition to next gen with its internal studios.

I'm pretty sure they would have wanted Driveclub to be available at the launch of the console as well as infamous. That would have been a really good launch.

Then have The Order release mid year (June, July, August) and then Uncharted 4 in November.

Not saying this is what Sony's plan was...but rather what i think they should have targeted.

That being said, Sony has done a really good job with third party support, free to play games, and indie games. Its completely unrivaled in that respect.

I agree, but when a Sony games isn't ready, it simply isn't released.

Wot?

Not going to start list wars, but Sony certainly releases plenty of games that aren't ready for it!

They do tend to get their tent-poles right however (GT, MLB, Uncharted).
