Forums - Sony - The Order: 1886 Impressions "Absolutely Incredible;" News Coming on the 27th - Insider

It would be disappointing if it's The Order that's been delayed. The PS4 has plenty of other titles launching during the rest for the year, but losing its biggest holiday title wouldn't be great.

Still, id rather a great delayed game that a shitty rushed one.

So maybe the beginning of 2015? Man, I'm really looking forward to next tuesday, this is exciting.

if he could just fucking tell us if its a 2014 or 2015 tittle that would be great.

Yeah the whole hinting he's doing is pretty annoying, maybe he's just bored and wants to fuck with people.

Well, something for holiday 2014 is definitely needed, Driveclub really isn't enough from Sony for that. How are we supposed to win arguments on the internet if they don't release another big game this year?

PS fans will get pleasure centers of the brain activated (good ol dopamine ;P) with or without games. I know this because I went through that during 360's greatest years lol

MS fans: X1 has more holiday system sellers!

PS fans: PS4 global best seller #1!!!!!!!

P.S. - Why do people think this game is being delayed?

Well, yeah I guess being the best selling system is still the ultimate way to win an argument, at least on here, but that gets boring because there really is no discussion about that (unless some people want to use the 13 countries excuse I guess, lol)

With games you can have a much more interesting back and forth about what's better and so on... but we'll see, I was sure that he was hinting at a delay until 2015 but maybe he wasn't after all, his tweets are confusing.

I'm hoping he's wrong. This and Batman was what I was going to buy my PS4 for!

Disappointing how Sony has handled the transition to next gen with its internal studios.

I'm pretty sure they would have wanted Driveclub to be available at the launch of the console as well as infamous. That would have been a really good launch.

Then have The Order release mid year (June, July, August) and then Uncharted 4 in November.

Not saying this is what Sony's plan was...but rather what i think they should have targeted.

That being said, Sony has done a really good job with third party support, free to play games, and indie games. Its completely unrivaled in that respect.

I agree, but when a Sony games isn't ready, it simply isn't released.

I would be surprised honestly, the February(?) previews were pretty lukewarm since the game is not "innovative" pretty straightforward 3rd person shooter, like it's some kind of con. Maybe now they showed a bigger slice but I don't feel it.

Doesn't take anything from my hype though, a solid 3rd person shooter is exactly what I need on my PlayStation console.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Thats true for the most part...but sometimes i think it's necessary to stick to time lines. ND were not happy when they released U3...but if they didnt release U3 when they did, they would have delayed to the beginning of the following year, which would have a negative impact on sales imo.

Little big planet 2 was delayed to release after the holidays and that had an impact on its sales.

So yeah i think they need to strike a balance between giving the developers freedom and towing the line with meeting certain timeframes.

It was never dated, is "delayed" even right here?

2014 is looking very empty for Sony exclusives if this is going into 2015. I doubt PS4 will hit it's 2014 sales targets if there isn't at least one retail exclusive involving shooting things/people.
