This thread makes no absolute sense (unless you use Rolstoppable's Theorem, which I might have to).

An 89 factors in things like 4/5 scores (which is great, but sometimes only gets adjusted to 85), people who reviewed it don't like Nintendo/Mario Kart/teh kiddy grafix, etc.

The other reason...and probably the most important reason this thread doesn't make any sense is:

None of us have played it.

Considering that its one the of the highest rated in the series, and the highest rated console Mario Kart game, yeah I'm happy about it. Regardless of the score, it looks like a fantastic game anyway.

The problem is people think nintendo games should always be 90+ metacritic.(specially the flagship ones).

plus,many people think that anything bellow 9 is trash.(which is bullshit btw)

Pretty sure it's the highest rated MK in a while.

Which i personally find odd considering how bare bones online is, awful battle mode is, and passable the roster is.

Still buying the limited edition with the blue shell day 1 :^)

89 is an excellent score, it is actually the highest rated home console Mario Kart game :O
