I didn't avoid your question or call you anything bug an apologist. I showed what Nintendo said it would do. I told you that gays are a part of the kids and family audience(as much as 7-10%). I legitimately don't think it will hamper sales and here is why: Skyrim has tons of sales and no gay controversy surrounding it. Dragon's Dogma sold well for Capcom no gay complaints. The Sims is one of the PCs best sellers no gay controversy. Birdo SMB2 big sales, no controversy. Plus a gay character in Mother, Transgender character in Baten Kaitos Cloud cross dressing in FFVII big sales no controversy, MGS 2 with Vamp no controversy, Mass Effect great sales no controversy, Fable good sales no controversy, GTA and the ballad of gay tony, good sales no controversy with gay in the name, Bully good sales no controversy, I may recall a lesbian in Valkyria Chronicles which sold well for what it was. I have not been sarcastic. I answered your question multiple times. I guess you just don't want to hear me or can't believe my response.

I just thought that when i asked you how you thought group X would feel about a game, your answer was well, group Y also plays the game.
You want people to be empathetic to group Y, yet you wouldn't show empathy for other people in group X who may have reservations about the game. Curl just called them bigots. That's a real conversation ender.
Bigotry definition: bigoted attitudes; intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself. You would see that if you argue with a parent about wether or not to show gay content to their children it will be a fight of different opinions, and who is the bigot is not that clear.
From the games, I think Cloud cross dressing for a mission in FFVII are not really about sexual orientation. Many of those are mature and mature audiences don't have issue with that in this modern day. I wouldn't let my kid play them until they were older anyway. The Sims is maybe the only thing children might play, and I have not heard controversy about sims.
Nintendo though has kept this squeaky clean reputation, and the big publisher that they are if there was a controversy it would spread. So if you don't think that many moms & dads that Nintendo markets to would care then that's fine, but I think they could. Will be interesting to see if they do change their game in the future. Japanese culture is to not say "no", even thought they mean "no".
