I think we're arguing about different things. Most of us are fine buying any kind of game whether we can identify with the main character or not. My problem is with the backlash that people get for simply requesting a patch that allows same sex relationships. This is not asking the developers of Bayonetta to make her lesbian and have a story about her and her gf, but giving an option which doesn't harm anyone, including kids or take considerable effort for the developers. I find the the notion of "keep that away from my kids" insulting. |
Why do you find that insulting? If a couple has a kid(s), they would want their children to do the same.
