This is getting old quick. Im tired of the gay community screaming their rights are being violated everytime their lifestyle is not included in something. So you know what I think im going to down to the gay district and walk into adult video store and bitch to the owner there is know straight porn here and my rights have been violated because I have been discriminated against. Its big B.S. I think its only around 7 to 8 percent of the world are homosexual. Shut up.  Are you being beaten on daily basis? Are gays being lynched? Are gays being sprayed by firehoses? The answered to those are no. So until that is happening stop yelling about your rights.

No one is screaming anything. Especially not that their rights are being violated. I'm also curious as to where you are hearing this everytime they aren't included in something. Tons of games movies etc come out and I hardly ever see such articles.

I'm sad to live in a society where people think I need to be repeatedly beaten, lynched or assaulted just to discuss my rights.

Why do you find that insulting?  If a couple has a kid(s), they would want their children to do the same.

That would imply that by playing a life sim, one can change his sexual orientation, which is ridiculous. I don't think there is any study that can support this.

That may very well be true, but a parent (some parents) want the best for their kids.  And even though that might not change his or her sexual orientation, a straight parent is going to damn sure true.  That's just being a parent.

I don't understand how the best for their kids is to exclude entire groups of people in media and art.

I agree with Nintendo's statements and have no quarrels with their design choice in this game.

This sounds like another non issue LGBT lobbyist are trying to exploit for their agenda.

I'm sorry. I don't understand this part. Can you please explain what you mean?

We apologize for disappointing many people by failing to include same-sex relationships in Tomodachi Life. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to change this game’s design, and such a significant development change can’t be accomplished with a post-ship patch. At Nintendo, dedication has always meant going beyond the games to promote a sense of community, and to share a spirit of fun and joy. We are committed to advancing our longtime company values of fun and entertainment for everyone. We pledge that if we create a next installment in the Tomodachi series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players.

This response sounds sooooo much better than their first PR statement.

a mole hill becomes a mountain.

And? Who cares? Such a non-issue. Do video games even have gay protagonists yet?

A person should never teach their kids to hate gays.  A parent can go through lengths to mold their child.  Sometimes they can go to far where a child can see them as enemies.  And it's not that they don't love their child cause they do, they just want that child to be the best of them.  They can talk to you like I'm talking to you, so there is no hate.  I'm going to stop now cause I'm shouldn't be talking like I am a parent.  I just trying to show you it's not a war against gays and straights with most people.

Very good response in my opinion. Makes sense and shows Nintendo will do better with next iteration.
