Well, you say that, but for me (personally < someone will notice this at some point) I think they were close enough last time. We'll see if they're close this time with the added bonus of a Titanfall reveal at E3 ... Or so they say. That's a difficult one to get out of if they're wrong.

You basically say this every thread that you make having to do with them lol

I take the 'Insider knowledge' as something you write to promote your site. My guess (if they're anywhere near correct) is that they have someone who passes information on who's a friend of a friend of a friend ... and so forth. If that information proves to be close enough for me (personally) then I'll take another look.

If they're close enough, yes. Why not, it's not hurting anyone is it? If they're wrong I'll just say 'they're wrong' if they're right you can post another and another and another post about how they're guessing.

It's supposed to be insider information, which means that "close enough" isn't good enough.
If it was a site admitting that they're just estimating numbers based on NPD reports, VGC or publisher statements, then that would be fine.

 

Honestly any member here could make such a site and estimate when the PS4 is going to hit 8m sold. The vast majority would be within 2 weeks of the actual point of happening, since we know the weekly PS4 sales from VGC (and add a few 10k to that). It's no rocket science. Doesn't mean they have insider information though.

Rabble rabble rabble! That site is shit! It has no credibility!

VGC has suspicious US/NA numbers?

Hey guys, give VGC some slack. Take the numbers for what they are at face value (even though the XBone hasn't outsold the PS4 at all this year in the US, even with temporary price cuts and Titanfall, and the price went back up to $500 across the board.)

1. It's EA and 2. Microsoft has had a lot of timed exclusives past gen that went multiplat after a year, so it wouldn't be surprising at all. If it isn't happening then there will be some excuses that it was planned to reveal but this and that wasn't ready yet or that EA cancelled the port minutes before the show and instead work on Titanfall 2 instead which will come to PS4 day one and so on.

You're giving them far too many chances.
