If it doesn't show up then of course that casts even more doubt on their credibility. An excuse wouldn't cut it for me unless EA specifically stated (or some other reliable source) that indeed it HAD been cancelled at the last minute and would be shown at a later date. It's quite a bold prediction and it's not in line with what Tidux said on his Twitter account. He just said it's coming to the PS4.

No because that wasn't insiderp's "leak" to begin with. The insider on twitter said Titanfall is running on PS4 and insiderp piggybacked. That isn't telling the truth about having insider information.

Oh, so you know that Insiderp just took Tidux twitter and guessed it would be shown at E3? Could you post your source please, or are you just guessing? It seems to me that you're covering as many bases as possible 'just in case' they get something right.

Well...yeah! Plenty of people speculated that it would be at E3 after Tidux said that it's running on PS4. Insiderp just put it up as "insider info".

So, if they're right it's because they guessing and if they're wrong it proves their guessing. Got it.

If they're wrong I'll be less likely to believe them in the future and if they're right I'll be more inclined to believe them in the future.

Different people; different thought processes, except mine is a little more objective.

Tell me what you believe then. If they're "close enough" then they're credible and if they're wrong then you don't acknowledge it and just post the next prediction. You said that Titanfall at Sony's E3 is a hard thing to be right about but it's not, especially since they didn't say it until AFTER Tidux said something about it. If it was before then maybe they'd have some credibility, but no, they piggybacked.

Personally, given the track record of VGC tracking over the past 6 months, I'm not sure why people have such an issue with Insiderp but defend VGC numbers, on many websites VGC is treated with as little tolerance as many of you show of Insiderp. Hell, this week VGC has tracked 15k for Spiderman on XB1 which doesn't even release for another two weeks, thats about as made up as data can get.

I've taking VGC numbers less and less seriously for the last few months. I stay for the community. 

It was rumoured to be coming to the PS4 a long long time before Tidux tweeted about it. The difference here is that they say it will be shown at E3. If it is then I (personally) will give them a little more credit.

Let me put it another way: You have a scale from complete disbelief to complete belief. The pointer sits dead centre in a position that points to neither emphatically. If they're right then my needle will move a little into the belief section but not complete belief. If while that needle occupies that position, other information comes along that is proven correct, then the needle will move further into the belief section but still not complete belief. If they get something wrong then the needle will move towards the neutral postion (but not completely because it's still 2/1 in favour of belief) and I'll wait for more information. If belief or disbelief hit anything beyond 70% then I will begin to invest in a conclusion. That conclusion will either be 'I believe them to be right most of the time' OR 'I believe them to be wrong most of the time'. It will never be 'I believe them 100%' but it can be 'They're wrong too often for me to believe'.

Same now, the community makes this site.  I just felt there was a strange lack of self awareness on show in this thread, like a KKK supporter decrying racism or something.
