I'm not defending them. They were close enough with 7 million PS4s and 1 million ISS sales for me to give them a little longer. If you don't agree with that then fair enough but for me 'personally' it was enough.

It's supposed to be insider information, which means that "close enough" isn't good enough.
If it was a site admitting that they're just estimating numbers based on NPD reports, VGC or publisher statements, then that would be fine.

 

Honestly any member here could make such a site and estimate when the PS4 is going to hit 8m sold. The vast majority would be within 2 weeks of the actual point of happening, since we know the weekly PS4 sales from VGC (and add a few 10k to that). It's no rocket science. Doesn't mean they have insider information though.

Well we have the supposed E3 reveal of Titanfall now too. If that turns out to be true then we have to consider they may be telling the truth about having insider information.
