I think he hurt Xbox fanboys the most with this prediction. I mean nobody expects Xbone to be on top on NPDs anymore for a couple of months. Now he poured hope in their hearts, just for that to be crushed on Thursday. We would have skipped that without this prediction because everyone sane expects PS4 to comfortably outsell the Xbone.

Exactly. Now the NPD thread will be all about meltdowns either way

I don't think so, but server situation has definitely improved, been online a couple hours today, even managed a few online races. It's still a bit spotty and challenges are not up so still a lot to be done.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

I think it probably will, maybe next week, but will stay available for much longer than a month, maybe even permanently.

It would be so much more stress on the servers which are already struggling, even if they are getting better day after day.  Maybe if they could release it with altered code so it doesn't automatically try to connect to the internet like the full version apparently does then that would be good.  It would still be a pretty good demo with offline stuff.  But I don't know if they could do that or not
