Gee, TGS you disappointed me today...hard. First the big special 20th anniversary of PS project announcement, which turns out to be an interview with Kazunori Yamauchi (seriously, that is your big announcement?)

Then the Atlus stream, which could have given us Persona 5 gameplay but didn't

And now this SCEJA stream which was just them playing the showfloor titles and at the end of which it was confirmed that there won't be a new game at tomorrows Bloodborne conference. :/

Square Enix seriously was the saving grace here with their presentation of FF XV, which is something I'd never thought I'd say in a million years. lol

Final Fantasy XV is looking amazing. Don't know if I would get it though, as I've never played a Final Fantasy game before.

It's not connected to other FF games. No need to play the others

PSX released in Japan Dec 1994, FFVII released in Japan January 1997 (25 months)
PS2 released in Japan Mar 2000, FFX released in Japan January 2001 (16 months)
PS3 released in Japan Nov 2006, FFXIII released in Japan December 2009 (37 months)
PS4 released in Japan Feb 2014, assuming FFXV releases in Japan Dec 2015 (22 months)

Could bode well for PS4 after the mess that was FFXIII on PS3. Maybe even 2 mainline, non MMO FFs this generation. Cautiously optimistic.
