Could bode well for PS4 after the mess that was FFXIII on PS3. Maybe even 2 mainline, non MMO FFs this generation. Cautiously optimistic.

I'd say there should definitely be 2 standard entries this gen. There isn't really a need for them to make another MMO right now, FF14 is already bathing them is money :p

Let's hope so. I'm just hoping that FFXV will be good and back to form like the pre PS3 mainline FFs. This is looking good so far as the game and trailer look fantastic.

I'm also hoping it will release by the end of 2015. This is also looking good considering the demo is rumored to be 80% done and they are showing gameplay videos. They don't want to release the game too far away from the demo, so if the demo is indeed coming in March, then December 2015 for Japan would be a conservative guess.

In other news, Guilty Gears Xrd -SIGN- will be 1080p 60fps (surprise, surprise). General Director Daisuke Ishiwatari said that the framerate is "very stable". Dualshockers will put up a full interview with Ishiwatari soon.

For anyone having trouble with Destiny or Call of Duty: Ghosts servers: the servers are under attack by Lizardsquad. This is an issue on all platforms.

In other news, 8 of the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association's Top 12 future games from TGS are Playstation exclusives. Looks like Sony had a very good presence in TGS, especially since TGS also enjoyed the 2nd largest number of visitors ever.

  • 2 are PS4-only games: Bloodborne and The Order: 1886.
  • 2 are PS3-only games: Kingdom Hearts II.5 Remix and Tales of Zestiria
  • 1 is a Vita-only game that will probably never see light in the west: Phantasy Star Nova
  • The rest are cross-Playstation games: Yakuza Zero (PS3/PS4), The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky II (PS3/Vita), and God Eater 2 (PS4/Vita)
