Holy crap! I just realized we haven't heard shit about the new YS game. I wonder if it will be at E3...

it doesnt look fast paced, but when you play it things certainly play quickly. its not as quick as hack and slash games. but its a lot faster than skyrim, for example. 

i liked everything i saw of bloodborne, i mean everything. enemies, style, gameplay, atmosphere, concept, monsters, enemies. thing is, they just didnt add an easier difficulty. i get frustrated when games are too hard, and just for the sake of being hard, which from software games are known to be. bloodborne would be the type of game i would probably fall in love with, if it was just hard, not way to hard. 

Horizon

When I first started to play Demon souls when it came out, I was turned off by the difficulty. I kept playing it anyway trying to overcome itand once I got used to it, I loved it. You really have to give those games a chance to decondition you from games being too easy. Those games just mainly punish you for making mistakes and people just don't realize how many mistakes they really make while playing a game. Once you start to level up and get some gear, it gets easier. Your mistakes are less lethal.

It's similar to the majority of competive online games. You pay for mistakes and learn from them. Eventually you'll become a better player and you'll just bottom out.  With the souls games, you're just fighting mainly the AI that's ultimately limited. Fighting other players is a lot harder. 

I can understand if someone doesn't like the games though. They are more difficult than most games. To each their own.
