It always surprises me that no matter what the news is, there is always someone that will spin it as the best thing ever. Well i guess people will always have different views to others. Its what makes the world so interesting. Its just that in my opinion e3 is about the big three being on stage and showing the world what they have.

I'm really disappointed with Nintendo if I am to be truly honest. If Sony did this I think I would blow a gasket.

I'm rewatching the 2013 E3 direct right now to see if it was a good as I remembered.

So far the first three things they did were show

1. Pokemon X & Y

2. Super Mario 3D World

3. Mario Kart 8

So far so awesome, not bogged down by numbers or anything boring either.  Plus I know X is shown at some point too.  How were they bashed so much?

Super Mario 3D World wasn't Super Mario Galaxy 3 and Retro's game was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and not Metroid Prime 4...

And once again, a vocal minority fed way too much into rumors of a Star Tropics revival...

So, naturally, it was Nintendo's worst E3 since Wii Music...

Honestly I don't see how this makes them "win E3" like I love Smash Bros and all but we haven't even seen what Sony/MS will do. Does letting people play a game that was already announced a little early really that big of a deal? And again? This is something I'd expect from Dr Tre lmao, to each their own I suppose.

They are going to rent the Nokia Theatre just for the Smash competition!
Who cool is that?

Then they are having the treehouse prividing demos on the showfloor and the actua games presentation.

I could ask for an actual conference, but let`s see how the Digital Event turns out to be.

I'm tempted to go to Best Buy for the demo, but I feel bad that someone died to make it happen. I don't know if I can go in good conscience. :/
