I am now starting to question myself about my PS4 purchase.

Uncharted 3 had microtransactions, was still one of the best games i ever played. if MT are done in a way that they dont get in the way of playing and dont effect the balance, i dont mind at all.

As long as you're not kept from acquiring anything in the game without microtransactions as well, this isn't really a problem. Microtransactions are pretty common inclusions in games these days I'm afraid so you're just gonna have to deal with it. They're really not an issue in my opinion, unless they're used as the only means of acquiring something, or not using them makes getting/achieving something a totally unenjoyable grind

Wait a second. Possible? Hell, look at the PS1, PS2 and PS3. Sony never failed us! Always gave us great games, long support and quality products (PS3 a bit expensive).  Don't doubt our almighty lord!

GT5 long support, GT6 micro-transactions.

Seriously screw microtransactions. I hate this kind of thing where the devs tell you that they're only including it as a way to unlock content by paying money. Worst of all, people are actually eating up this BS. Not only is it wrong for a full priced game, but the real issue is that over time they're going to start introducing ways such as making the grind unusually aggravating so that you're urged to make MTs. Just look at DLCs. They seemed like a good idea, allowing you to have expansions to your games, but soon enough so many devs started abusing it with day one dlc and on disc dlc. Basically locking stuff out of a game so that they can charge you later.

It won't be long before these MTs start to get abused in the worst way possible and the game design goes to crap in the hopes to extort money from consumers.

Once again, not saying that this game has MTs confirmed, but screw any company who does this.

Look how well GT6 has sold, I think Sony learned a lesson. That wasn't a smart move of them :/

Clealry microT were to blame, not a lack of marketing comapred to the massive push GT5 recieved.
