The validation for this is utterly ludicrous, desperate, and quite hilarious, if not embarrassing.
Not to mention, the cancellation isn't officially confirmed yet, so it could change at any time making a whole lot of people look foolish.
Looking at fans turn upon companies like Activision, accusing them of having poor quality control on a game they have never seen, so loyal to pieces of plastic, that they cannot fathom any other possible reasons for the game's purported cancellation.
Obviously, its not a marketshare issue or an anti-Microsoft bias. Perhaps, the issue is Legal, I find it unlikely that a major publisher could fail the XB1's parity and "quality" tests.
Doesn't matter if you personally don't want a game, a multiplat missing the XB1 for whatever reason cannot be spun as a good thing. In fact, is important because its so strange, it is such an outlier that it is probably a fluke. But understanding why it happened, will give you a better prediction of how your investment in the console will pan out.
If anything else, this is a sign that MS Xbox has not yet gotten its shit together. Its more likely that forced Kinect integration could delay the game causing a conflict with their meaningless parity clause. This is a MS issue not an Activision won, and if the XB1 has any dream of catching up in the US, they had better rectify it at once.
Cmon, Phil.
