The foreshadowing I speak of is going along the lines of more powerful and more demanding AAA games like the Witcher 3 and others coming soon causing the next gen consoles to chug. If Sony console chugs early then MS is definitely going to. I dont think MS can cancel them all and I doubt they would want to do that to their consumers anywyay, but they are in a rough spot right now and they will have to deal with it for an entire generation. Sony had to combat inferior multiplats with superior first party. MS will have to do the same this gen and first party out of the big three is actually Microsofts weakest point. What do you think?

Well it's not like multiplatform games are funded by Microsoft right? So the only way I see games being cancelled is if developers are consistently losing money in putting their games on the Xbox One. Even then I'm not sure because games like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are still coming to the Xbox One and they sold poorly, especially in comparison to the PS4.

As for Microsoft's first party, they usually sell well and until we get evidence to the contrary I'll say they'll be fine for the generation. The Xbox One is still the third fastest selling console of all time so it isn't like Microsoft is in any trouble for the immediate future. There's also the fact we have no idea what E3 will look like that will surely have huge impact on the big three for the next few years.
