That is off by quite a bit. I wonder what region vgc is undertracking?

Well VGC should be constantly adjusting US numbers after each NPD. Seeing as Europe is a lot harder to track I would think the majority comes from there

It's overtracked in the US by 1.4m, so whatever region(s) it is, it's by more than 2m (and that's suggesting there are 1.2m in the channel, no way is it that high these days.)
So yeah, probably 700k in channel? that suggests 2.5m along with being overtracked in US 1.4m. Undertracked outside the US by 3.9m sell through.
I still dont get why the numbers on the front page dont match the numbers on the platform totals page =/

I have been saying this for a looong time know. i am xompletely sure that the missing figures stem all the way back to late fall of 2012 where the shipments started to look alot higher than sell-through on the site. I maintain that 360 is in 2nd place in the 7th generation and has actually matched or sold better than PS3 last year.
My guess is that an adjustment of about 2mn would put it correct compared too shopments, and it probably exist in Europe.
I agree...
Just to add... US sales are inline with NPD so the massive undertracking is in EU or Rest of The World (we have Japan numbers too).
It looks like every single platform at the end have massives undertracking here... PSP close to 7 million unders... PS2 over 5 million unders... etc.

So why do you stick with the 80.6M if the platform totals are more accurate to date? It's 81.23M there. |
Because - http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/41742/Global/
Who knows why that page with the higher numbers is showing that. But the front page and the weekly updates page show 80.6m.
EU is undertracked for sure. PS3 has been whopping 360s ass in EU according to VGC and its makes absolutely no sense as to why.
