I follow the PS nation and Xbo nation thread and I think I never saw in the PS nation thread someboday say 'I am going to buy a PS4 for FFXIV:ARR' I think that is because everyone who really wanted to play it got it on his PS3 or maybe PC some time ago....

I did not read many posts about people getting a Xbox one for Titanfall but it was mentioned by some who would buy a Xbox one and made the decision to buy one with the Titanfall release...

Playing it on PS3 is irrelevant though due to continually added content and that fact that you can upgrade to the PS4 version for free. I did this and honestly this was a major selling point for me when it came to the PS4.

Because one is a port of an “old“ game and most people who are really interested in this game played it already before PS4 launched. If we would start to say that ports like FF, Tomb Raider or even the former PC game Outlast are as important as new games like Titanfall, Infamous or Battlefield 4 I would be confused (I know that Battlefield and Tomb Raider are on XB1 and PS4 but it's the same logic)

I mean, if it would be so easy to release “big exclusives“ just with porting them, developers would probabky have bigger porting teams as teams working on 100% new games.

Agreed. As a WoW vet (raided heavily for a few months during CATA) and GW2 vet (got a legenday) which are 2 of the best MMOs on the market says gamers and reviewers alike I think this game offer a different experiance than the others. I dont see it having the endgame of WoW or something like WvW in GW2 in endgame (not there yet, just lvl 30) but it has HANDS DOWN the best main quest line out of the 3 and its not even close. The dungeons are better than GW2s, but not sure on WoW, maybe endgame adds more variety to it. I will also say the class system is better on FFXIV than GW2 or WoW.

If you liked WoW or GW2 you will probably like this game. If you like classic final fantasy but did not like WoW give this one a shot, it is worth a play through just for the main story, which who knows maybe you find other things to your fancy as you play. It has alot of great FF classic elements to it despite it being an MMO. The art slyle feels like FFXII (IMO a good thing) and one of the worst things about recent FF game has been terrible leads, well in this case you make your lead, you to an extent make your story.

Because Final Fantasy is the very definition of a massive pile of turd.

Once upon a time Final Fantasy was Godly. The series was amazing.

Since 9 FF has been downhill. 10 was still ok. 11 terrible, 12 diabolicle and 13 is not even worth wasting my saliva over. Final Fantasy needs to go into the ground and never come back up.

did you just google "what to say if bashing FF because its not on XBOX" seriously you just spewed out every anti FF comment in one projectile vomit like post.

Just because the spinoffs suck and they butchered FFXIV original does not make this game bad, that is just fallacy in logic. This game is awsome. Could be dumb luck on part of SE or maybe they knew their backs were against the wall and they delieved.

Fact is if the tables were turned you would be running wild trying to promote this as the next savior for the XB1.
