| bigtakilla said: More likely a look at multiplats over 3rd party support. Nintendo will have 3rd party support it's entire gen, that much I guarantee. I also loved the little revival of the arcade on rails shooter genre we got with House Of The Dead and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, hope to see another 1 or 2 of those this gen. |
But thats just it, we probably arent even going to get those. You cant compare it to the WIi becasue the Wii actaully sold well so 3rd parties would habe been more inclined to make the Epic Mickeys and such( and even then some of those games ended up going MP anyway). Wii U is not in the same position. I think best we can hope for is something like Hyrule Knights, pretty much a 2nd party game.

maybe. but do you know any big 3rd party games coming to WIi U? because you are just as wrong as him if you dont.
Hell you might get that AC game thats coming to PS360 but that might as well be AA compared to Unity. And maybe COD will come again

Sonic Boom is also coming out, as well as Bayonetta 2 (though I do get the fact that it's more of a 2nd party game along with Hyrule Warriors, but it is kind of a blurred grey line with Bayo 2), One Piece Unlimited World R, Monster Hunter Frontier (as well as speculation of a revamped Monster Hunter 4, though I know that doesn't count until official), Child Of Light (Ubisoft showing some more love), Odd World New and Tasty, The Human Element, and Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark are all games that I would say have at least A development that I am looking forward to, with some being AAA. Then there are games that while aren't even A budgeted games I'm really excited for, such as Mighty No. 9.

you're excited about them, thats good. But none of those games you mentioned are AAA, maybe MH4 but even then thats a port and doesnt have a massive fanbase outside of Japan

Bayonetta 2, Transfomers Rise of The Dark Spark, and the previously unannounced Fatal Frame Wii U will probably all be AAA titles as well. Not sure due to not knowing the budgets of these games, if you have more insight do share though.
Other than that I just thought we were talking about big budgeted games (A through AAA), and what kind of big budgeted games we could expect from third parties on the Wii U. I was just naming a few that ranked from A to AAA that I am looking forward to.

Bayonetta is a niche game in a niche series. That isnt AAA, its doesnt have anywhere near the budget or scope of say an Infamous or GTA. Same with Transformers, Fatal Frame is even lower on the totem pole hell it probably wont even be released outside Japan
some "Gamers" are fickle.
We take 3rd Parties from the corrupt! The Board of Directors! The oppressors of generations who have kept games down with myths of innovation, and we give it back to you... the gamers. Games are yours. None shall interfere. Do as you please. Start by storming Kyoto, and freeing the oppressed! Step forward those who would serve. For and army will be raised. The Iwata will be ripped from his decadent nest, and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure. Courts will be convened. Spoils will be enjoyed. Money will be shed. The Wii U will survive, as it learns to serve true gaming. This great company... it will endure. Nintendo will survive!
