Im pretty sure it wont sell much. Ubisoft is hurting it with delaying it to fall or even later.
The only third party that sold well was Lego City Undercover and that was also an exclusive game.
I think we wont get much third party support from now on, maybe one game once in a while but nothing too crazy.

Lego City Undercover was developed by TT Fusion under the supervision of Nintendo. The group was in contact with the developers and sent regular feedback, but did not intervene directly in the development. Specifically, producers and staff of the Department Nintendo Software Planning & Development (SPD) were involved. In addition, Nintendo localized the game and published it, that means that this is a first party game of Nintendo.

No, it's a third party exclusive. 1st party = a game developed by a company's own studios. 2nd party = a game developed by a company that the company owns (like xenoblade and X). 3rd party = a game developed by a developer independant from the first party. can be exclusive or multi, but third party nonetheless.

But Wikipedia says no.:<

Project cars will be interesting to see, I think there was a poll on the oficial site where over 50% of the votes said they'd buy the game on wii u. but reagrdless of the outcome the bolded isn't true and never will be. at maximun it meand that some third parties sell better than others, which is valid for all consoles.

That poll has the Wii U version at 30.54%.  Below the Steam OS version.  I'm rather doubtful that either of those results will be represented in the sales numbers.  Although some of the Steam OS voters probably just meant Steam the storefront.

it was over 50% before.

A million sales with a delayed port? lol... you are already dooming it to be a failure then.

It could've had a chance if it wasnt delayed. Now that it is... no chance for a mil on sales. I would say 500k would already be a major sucess.

I'd say 500k would be a given with a correct release. now, it might happen but only after a long time.

Watch_Dogs will do... around the amount Rayman Legends sold, and not anywhere close to ZombiU's sales. This will be because of the delay as it could have done more with the proper release date.

When I look at effort that third parties did its like they dont want for their games to sell and they do not release games that would have sold welll.. Sometjmes I feel like they intentionally go FR for some odd reason....

pretty much this.

@Onyihide

Wii U had 50.4% and Steam OS beat it after 4 days since the pool started which indicates that Wii U crowd is more responsive and sooner to buy the game also Xbox One and PlayStation 4 seriously lag behind Wii U also I am suspicious of Steam OS votes since all of the sudden everyone started voting for it.... From last to first place... Odd as hell since Steam OS crowd was around 5% when Wii U was at 50.4% ...

so are you saying the numbers cant be trusted?

Lets be real the closest indication is preorders and even then...Ill say PS4>xone>360>PS3>PC>Wii U in sales. thats even if it was going to release the same time.

i'm sorry but "if it was released at the same time it would sell better" doesn't cut it.

To those who say it, explain why?

Not like the Wii U has any other major 3rd party releases coming in fall 2014.

If you are a wii u only gamer and the game is good then there is no reason not to but it. For the multi plat gamers who claim they would have bought the Wii U version well clearly you have made empty threats and still got the game on another system. You sure punished Ubisoft by buying the game on another system lol.
