Double Dash was garbage. A couple neat track designs but that's it. The karts handled like they were being driven on ice and chugged along at the speed of a Segway.

Best is still the original, followed by DS and '64.

Not sure if your serious or not but I 100% agree. It was by far my least favorite Mario Kart. 

Lol no prob.  Actually the thing that really burned me about Double Dash (besides the crappy handling and the ridiculously overpowered blue shell) was the fact that it could have been a premiere online title for the GameCube with the broadband adapter, but rather than put the effort into it Nintendo went the lazy route and included a "do it yourself" LAN mode that was a pain in the ass to set up.

I was disappointed with the low framerate on mario kart wii when playing with 3 or 4 players. Also didn't like the motion controls. It was otherwise a very good game but I expect Mario kart 8 to completely surpass it.

Mario kart 64 was the weakest. I was disappointed with it's use of sprites and the courses didn't seem ambitious enough, even at the time. That said I still enjoyed it.

Mario kart DS is my current favourite.

I loved Mario Kart 64 and I don't understand how anyone didn't like that game.

I didn't appreciate the enemy being up my arse like an enema regardless of how well I drove because of the horrible rubber band AI. 

Wii one. it seemed like gameplay and challenge was a bit watered down to get mass appeal. it worked, but it felt like i was playing a party game on wheels and not a racer
