They realized that there aren't that many games out for it. One of my friends really regrets selling his PS3 to buy a PS4.

Terrible mistake

I advised him not to, but he's a dumbass. He keeps selling then rebuying a PS3 everytime a game he's interested in comes out. I'm pretty sure he has wasted more than 500$ doing that.

Home consoles are dying in japan, only mobile and handheld will survive there.

They thought they were buying two PS2 slims glued together..

I guess the hype have died out :)

Meh, with the launch numbers I never noticed any huge hype numbers. It's sad that the whole console market in Japan is getting smaller.

Is it a coincidence that not too long ago Nintendo released a Hello Kitty kart racer game as a WII U eshop download? I THINK NOT! People are trading in ps4's in the droves to get wii u's so they can play hello kitty racer! lol just kidding around. I love my Wii U btw and I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy so I'm allowed to joke around about eshop games lol.

This obviously means that the PS4 is doomed forever!

How boringly predictable. I won't even bother responding to the miscreants. As for OP, Japan having little to no stock issues means that people who bought the console to resell it simply lost money to and resold it to recoup the losses.

People keep saying there are no Japanese Games, but honestly I doubt most of those claiming that don't even know what the Japanese play.

Regardless, once the system gets more Japanese Dev support, it should be fine, currently the PS4 is supported by Western Multiplats, Western indies, and the occasional western AAA exclusive. So rather that no games for Japanese which is a ludicrous argument, there aren't devs on the system catering to the Japanese audience which is more accurate.
