I guess the secret sauce stuff will ramp up again towards E3 where we'll get another load of bullshit demos that will look a lot better than the final product... As long as people keep falling for it, it will continue.

good to hear. PS4 still has better hardware and anything done on DX12 on xb1 can be done on the PS4.

All DX12 is make it easier for things to be done

I would have serious doubts about this even if Microsoft themselves had said it, so I'm definitely not gonna believe a guy from a studio I've never heard of.

Why would Microsoft keep this quiet? Why, when they were getting ripped apart on forums and gaming websites after their reveal, when they are getting further and further behind PS4 in sales and having to cut prices and practically give away their biggest exclusive of the year, have they not come out with this news? Seems strange to me.

PS4 main library is the proprietary libGBM... it will get better over time too.

you can code in OpenGL but no AAA game uses it... there is a DirectX wrapper too, so you can code in DirectX but the performance is way below OpenGL and absal compared with libGBM.
