Forums - Gaming Discussion - And EA was too harsh on WiiU?

It seems that when we set to speel doom on Sony there is no problem at all.

EA is a company that should have professional standards, and this is just a website being silly. I thought is was funny.

April fools jokes are acceptable only if they take digs at Nintendo

I didn't think it was that bad at all. Any devs who work for EA deserve some slack. The pressure they're put under will surely cause them to vent occasionally. What better time than April fools?

I also think the apology from Peter Moore was a bit strange considering there was no such apology when that EA Sports engineer flat out said the Wii U was 'crap'. That was much worse IMO.

I would have wished for a bit more subtlety, but for what it was I thought it was quite humorous. As for the EA thing...who cares? They weren't offensive, they just weren't very funny.

Lol at that title, "I've seen the Titanic, I know where this is going".

Eh...I'm not sure if I approve. An unfunny joke initially, and the more it's dwelled on the worse it becomes if you ask me.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

It's not that what EA did was too harsh. It's that EA did it. EA is supposed to be business ally. Websites or fans or whoever can mock the industry (including Wii U or Sony) all they want. But a 3rd party mocking one of their sales platforms is a poor decision - that's why they apologized for it.

At least spell out the fucking name right...

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Ea and Nintendo are partners despite the lack of EA titles on WiiU. Big difference.
