LOL so true Mattrick had one of those faces. Almost anyone would be better then Mattrick.

I think all 3 of the previous lot were/are bad.

Dan was a suit, he just didnt get it when it came to the crunch. Not user friendly at all.

Reg is a buffon, really embarrassing at times.

Tretton... wow, smug little man who should be selling cars somewhere. He never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

 

Now two of these have been replaced;

Phil is a decent guy who is at least somewhat more cool and a bona fide gamer.

Dont know anything about the the new SCEA guy, but he HAS to be an improvement on Jack.

and Reggie?? watch you back fella, your next quite soon I reckon.

 

Most people really liked tretton, he was better then anyone at MS. All executives spin, tretton ws just very likeable and ooozed charisma.  always had that excited smile when it came to gaming, you could tell he really enjoyed what he was talking about.   No one at e3 was as good as tretton.

I just seems MS is doing most things right since the beginning of this spring, escpecially compared to the way they behaved last spring/summer where they basically seemed lost.

Even if I wasn't a big fan of his last year, I think he's the best choice to lead those divisions since he looks like the few recognizable faces on the Xbox division. That's damn good for the Xbox One.

I think that is more about integrating the xbox services like live and music with devices.  Since those services are under phil and the xbox division, but who knows.  I doubt elop will have much jf anything to do with the core xbox business.

ot: this is great news for the xbox division.  Phil spencer is probably the best choice to rebrand their somewhat tarnished image.  They should have gotten rid of don mattrick a long time ago though...
