Because that's how relevant Nintendo is now days. No one cares enough to post good or bad news.
Another Nintendoom thread, eh? Congrats OP! You've just broke the story of the year! Don't worry, your prize will be in the mail soon.....
By the by, if you bothered to look at the install base for Wii U right now, you'd realize that the sales data for MOST of the released Nintendo-published titles so far? Are actually pretty good.

Yeh. I always wonder like why do we count those sales as unit sales. Same as with Knack. I mean that game was bundled with the ps4 in Japan. So yeh, it should not count.
But also games like Wii Sports should be no where near any top sales charts.
Digital Downloads and Extensive On-System Bundling have made things seem worse than they actually are.
The answer is obvious to those without blinders on. Software sells hardware. Wii U's hardware performance is directly correlated to Wii U's available software. In other words, Wii U's software just isn't very appealing to any one outside of Gamecube fans' sphere.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

The WII U even has trouble selling to those in the gamecube sphere too!

oh im sure they know, but you know some people get salty and have to defend the honors
Only Nintendo games sell on Nintendo systems. There are like 20 Nintendo games on the 3DS and around 2 on the Wii U. We can only expect so much from that. What more do you want?!

If you bothered to read the OP he was talking TOTAL sales, not just Nintendo. Nice try though
