I was quite surprised when they announced it, I enjoyed the captain toad mini levels in 3D World. Will definitely purchase this.

If more stages are like that, I'm probably going to buy it. Do you guys think this will be full retail price? Would seem very unfair and greedy of Nintendo. This game uses the engine, assets, gameplay and ideas of Super Mario 3D World.

I haven't played my copy of SM3DW yet, but the Captain Toad levels are one of the things I'm looking forward to most. Do we know if this new Captain Toad content is going to be a standalone game at retail, eShop only or DLC?

I'd guess it will be 40$, 50$ tops. Don't forget that Nintendo launched DKC at 50$ instead of 60$ so they aren't shying away from "budget" releases

I don't think it will be full retail price, maybe 40 U$, or at least that is my bet, I am sure they had been working on it since october 2013, but as you said they are reusing a lot of the assets of SM3DW, it could also be 30 U$, but I am thinking 40 could be a fair price, this can have many levels and use the Gamepad a lot.

OT: I'm actually surprised that I want this. If it's 60$ I'll be annoyed (even though I expect Nintendo to price it like that since they don't know how to price anything), but I'll still buy it. They've sucked me in.
