There's actually a difference between predictions and estimates. 

What you mean is, there's a difference between getting it wrong because your predictions based off of proper calculation was wrong, and getting it wrong intentionally for the traffic the figures draw in.

First of all, I would just like to say that the phrase "extended Infamous Week" is absolutely hilarious.
Second of all, I would like to say that this information contradicts VGC figures quite strongly
Third, I would like to say that this is an absolutely terrible site and I am in favor of banning it

@Wagner: Its about as true as someone pulling random numbers from thin air...It could be right but in the end, they are just making things up

It's funny how the gap between sales of the 3 systems is only around a mil or so between each, despite everyone saying the PS4 is doing "so much better" than Wii U/XBOne. At this same point in the 7th gen, the Wii had a massive lead on PS3 and 360 (with PS3 looking doomed), yet in the end those 3 will all end up with very similar lifetime sales. Just goes to prove this gen is still anyone's race really.

It's only funny if you are blind to the trajectory of each console.  PS4 is like 50% higher trajectory than XB1, and 300% higher than Wii U.

PS4 has also sold more than Wii in the same period...  (and no, at this point the X360 had a 4 million lead over Wii)
