What? They are not gonna back to the perfect motion plus, so I can use a normal controller like any pc. And every Zelda before SS on homeconsole can be played with a traditional controller.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

If people continue to ignore Nintendo consoles ... then people may get their wish soon enough.
Nintendo will probably try the hybrid approach next, but the era of the full blown "Nintendo console" is probably nearing its end, there's just not enough of an audience to sustain it (barring a Wiimote miracle) and each console generation gets more and more expensive.
15-20 million people is not enough of an audience to justify making an entire console for, not with the way game development budgets/costs are today.
That said Nintendo's had a hell of a run, 30 years of making hardware in this industry would be like being in another business for like 100 years. If this is nearing the end, then they can hold their head up high. The game console itself may become a bit of an obosolete product in 10 years entirely.
In 10 years (give or take) I think it's quite possible you'll be able to get all your entertainment (TV, movies, games, music) through a centralized streaming/cloud service, you can sort of see things moving in this direction already, content providers like Apple are trying to make deals with big cable companies like Comcast ... that's the ultimately going to lead to that.
Better? No!

PS4 doesn't have a second screen, so Wii U could also have advantages not possible on PS4.

I just noticed that Bowser in the Wii version of Smash looks better than the Wii U version so far. Plus all these 2D games are only made to help them survive, get the casual gamer interested. If they just made games for other systems, they could end all that crap and just go back to making beyond great games that actually moved forward, instead of backwards. I would be kind of sad to never own a Nintendo system again, but the constant 10/10 games again would make it worth it. |
Handheld historically has been the biggest driver for Nintendo.
Every game on console runs better on Pc, so pointless argument. They could make more money just on handheld.

no just no, i just dont want that. the PC is better for fps, rts, etc. but not for ninteno games. the sucky xbox360 pad cant compete with nintendo hardware they just know how its done. the pro controller for the wii u is so much better than the other 2 nextgen pads(but i would love a gc styled gamepad. that would be sooo great)
Soon Wii U will be within $200, so there won't be a cheaper way to play all Ninty games, from old ones to the latest ones, and Wii U graphics power is more than enough to show kiddy graphics at its best!
