no just no, i just dont want that. the PC is better for fps, rts, etc. but not for ninteno games. the sucky xbox360 pad cant compete with nintendo hardware they just know how its done. the pro controller for the wii u is so much better than the other 2 nextgen pads(but i would love a gc styled gamepad. that would be sooo great)

It's a good thing you can get SNES, NES, N64, PS2, PS4, Xbox styled pads.
You can even use the Wii Mote.

Heck you can even use the Wii Pad on the PC.

Then there are several dozen other controller variations that are sold for the PC.

Controls isn't an excuse unfortunatly, the PC has always had the edge and the options in that regard.

Consoles do still have the advantage of convenience. To someone like me its just so much hassle to get Dolphin running, I'd rather just not go through all that.

I've played all the best Gamecube games on my PC with Dolphin 3.0 and it was just wonderful. Played with a 360 controller at 1080p/60fps.

Every game on a console would perform better on the pc so what's the point of this thread exactly? At least with the Wii U and Xbone they give a little more incentive to buy the console (gamepad and kinect).

Soon Wii U will be within $200, so there won't be a cheaper way to play all Ninty games, from old ones to the latest ones, and Wii U graphics power is more than enough to show kiddy graphics at its best!

And even with it'slack of power its games will still get better reviews than Killzone and Knack, lol.

Because reviewers are kiddy too: just put some brightly coloured stuff in a game and they'll love it! Just look at how much they loved Quake and Quake ]['s 50 shades of brown!

I'm hate buying nintendo's hardware but their software is great, nintendo make games for xbox 1 and ps4 already!

Wow, kirby and spur in the same day! Now we only have zero and tbone i believe(and that guy with link avatar). Maybe tbone will not fall since he's pretty reasonable at times, zero not so much, but hes missing for some time, so maybe he just though he had enough of internet for a time.

Keep watching guys, you will enver know who is next.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Well, running Dolphin and running a game off Steam are two different things.
If Nintendo brought it's games to Steam, it would actually be more convenient than consoles.

No more discs... No more waiting on patches... Just click and play.

Dolphin though can require ninja levels of trickery for some people.

Guess what, any game would be "so much better" on a PC.
