Wave Race! Just imagine dat HD water...........Fabulous! Simply fabulous! ゜o゜

Whilst I'd love to see a new 1080, I think a new Wave Race could work better; IF they drastically changed it.

What I see working is something akin to Motor Storm, but on the water, so as well as jetbikes there'd be a variety of motor boats to play with as well.

What would be gorgeous would be if they incorporated Excite Truck/Bike as well. Imagine jetskiing around an island, trying to beat someone on a motorbike, who was taking shortcuts through trees, whilst someone in a truck was driving on road.

Obviously getting the balance right on a game like that would be really difficult. But even if was a case of a dozen water levels, a dozen land levels and half a dozen hybrid levels, I think it would be damn cool.

Combining Wave Race and Excite Truck into Excite Race (Wave Truck? Yes, I prefer Wave Truck) would also make it easier for Nintendo to justify charging full retail price as it would essentially be 2 games in one.

Damn, I really want to play this game now, maybe next Redirect I should start a campaign for them to make Wave Truck...

I wouldn't buy any of the three probably.

Wave Race. I'd like to see Nintendo return to 1080, too.

I really think that would be nice.

It´s true that sports games do not sell as well today, but a returning to Nintendo sports franchises on the WiiU, with online matches, customization etc, maybe online tournments !, That would be just great.

In this case a new Wave Race and 1080 Snowboarding would be great. A new Excitebike would be great too. That N64 Excitebike was one of the best racing games I´ve ever played.

1080 for me, that was so fun back in the day. Even better if they threw in waverace too, I dont have anything against that game either and had a fun time playing that with friends back then.

Sorry, but comments like these are 100% what is wrong with gaming and gamers today.

What would you suggest Nintendo put out? An FPS perhaps? Or a game like Uncharted/Infamous/The Last of Us? Or some other manner of "realistic action/shooter game"? I suppose they should make shit just like everyone else to be successful, yes?

Exactly. I drooled at the thought of how good it would look, and how even better the water physics would be, just as a Wii title (that we sadly never got). But to imagine that in HD, with the exceptionally more powerful Wii U hardware? Yeah, count me in. :)
