I definitely feel they need to do this if they're still trying to have the Wii U outsell the Gamecube. It's clear that the current bundled game options aren't getting the job done as the Wii U is selling just as badly as last year. Afterall, WWHD is a 10 year old game, and before it was bundled, NSMBU was already released a year ago, and NSMB2 came a few months before that. So a new game bundle is needed, and what better than possibly the biggest game the Wii U will ever get, being Mario Kart 8. As for the $50 drop, let's face it, the first price cut didn't change anything. The Wii U's pricing went from $300-$350 to $300. Adds value sure, but the price remains the same, so I doubt many even noticed. Another price cut is needed, plus it's inevitable anyway, and again, what better time to do it than with the Wii U's biggest game!
