The real Zelda will cost a lot for them. And Mario has already proven that Wii U is not an easy console to sell software.


I know.  And it might actually be a good move for Nintendo (ie: NSMB).  I just want that feeling I got when I saw that Twilight Princess trailer back in the day.  Selfish of me but that's what I want.  

Oh, of course I'd also love that. That's why the Skywar Sword aanouncement was such of a meltdown.

Well, a Zelda like my sign will cost a lot of money that I doubt Nintendo is willing to invest in the Wii U. That's why I believe in TPHD, Hyrule Warriors and Top-down Zelda. As a Zelda fan I'll be ok with this as long as the real Zelda HD is ready for launch for the Wii U succesor.

Well, you may be ready for the successor and be ok with Top-down Zelda for the wiiU but no one else is... It will make people hate Nintendo even more and its basically distroy any faith people have with Nintendo and there will be even less hype for their next console than there is for the wiiU... I think they will be shooting themselves if they did this

If it did happen, it would simply be because they decided to shift whatever they've currently been working to their next system. I think they could make a top down zelda for the Wii U in 18-24month.

I personally would rather see a fully 3D game on the Wii U.

The idea of a red box for Zelda would be really cool! But I wouldn't mind a Zelda game in top down view.... I would be mildly irritated though but I would buy it anyway.

That sounds like a terrible idea...so of course they're going to do it.

In all seriousness, I can't imagine why that particular design choice would strike someone as a good decision.
