Xbox One: Good continuing support by MS since launch. Liking the apps so far and it has lots of potential for the future. Excellent controller.

PS4: Most powerful device and pretty cheap, lots of great games coming out for it. Fixed almost all the issues present with the PS3 and the DS4 is a huge improvement.

Wii U: Only console this gen to have backwards compatibility, the virtual console support on the tablet is a good touch and it has the legacy of Nintendo exclusives.

Xbox One - I'm very impressed with how Microsoft is building first-party development studios. World Wide Studios is the main reason I'm a Playstation fan; if Microsoft can approach that level, then I'll get an Xbox eventually. I already want one for Halo. In terms of resolution, I'm totally fine with 720p. The only real problem is Kinect inflating the price tag. That bugs me.

Wii U - I already wanted one for the backwards comparability with Wii RPGs. If and when they add more RPGs, I'll be even more interested. Zelda and Metroid are the other parts that will attract my attention. If the fur in Star Fox U is up to snuff, it will rise to must-have status.

3DS - Only a matter of time. Too many great RPGs to ignore. I want Fire Emblem. I want Youkai Watch, too, damn it.

PS4: Lacking features of PS3 that I enjoy, PS+ requirement, dearth of exclusive content

XB1: Peripheral is mandatory purchase but optional use, more expensive, XBL requirement, Proprietary Accessories, dearth of exclusive content I am intrested in

Wii U: Investment is not significant right now, to expensive for a console without multiplat support, tablet not intresting (wasn't impressed by wii mote either), poor online support

3DS: Handheld

Vita: Handheld

Ouya: practically made obsolete by smartphones

Steambox: Essentially, a commercial gaming pc without an operating system, not significantly less then PCs

PC: high cost of entry, low mobility, little in the way of plug and play solutions.

PS3: Diminishing Western Support

360: Diminishing overall support, XBL requirement, propreitary hardware/accesories

Wii: No Support, Online services being canceled.

Wii U: Has off TV play, looks the nicest of the three.

Wii U has Bayonetta 2, and no online charge

The Xbone Controller triggers are really nice feel great, has the best version of Titanfall.

WiiU: It's got 3D World which is clearly the best next gen exclusive so far. I'd be lying if I said wasn't jealous they're getting to play Mario Kart in a few months.

XBO: Their Twitch app is clearly better than the PS4 one. I think the controller is pretty cool there lies some potential with the Cloud servers.

PC: cheap games, settable, best FPS controls(mouse and keyboard)

XBO: its exclusives are more apealing than showed in other systems. and i really want to try the dek kit tools along with kinect.
games: titanfall, spark, quantum break, KH3

vita: psn+. i already have a lot of free games even without the system. play ps4 remotely.

the generation is long, im planing to get them all until 2020.

I game on 360, Wii and 3DS.

WiiU: It might be the least powerful, and the machine certainly needs some improvements on the OS, but it is very beautiful. It has its share of gems already (The Wonderful 101 or Pikmin 3, to name a few), and certain aspects of the tablet are quite unique. I'd have sex with it.

PS4: The design is horrible, but it is the most powerful console right now, combined with amazing games yet to come and a solid online system. What's not to love?

Xbox One: It overcame the disastrous PR and original project, it can play Dead Rising 3, Xbox Live is a robust, strong system, and the design, while blocky, is beautiful too. I'd have sex with it.

PS Vita: It has a robust library, and can connect with PS3 and PS4. On top of that, it is an ideal place to play indie games.

Ps3: A console that had a rocky, horrible start but ends up in fanfare. It's getting Xillia 2, Zestyria, Deception IV and moar in 2014. It also saw PSN going from utterly nothing to an online component a lot of people like and love nowadays.

I game on everything listed so, I guess I can't bring much to the table.

Ouya- I appreciate the fact that it is still somewhat, somewhat relevant by continuing to simply exist.

The xbox one is a decent system. I think the personalization and a few the things with the UI are cool. I don't think that it does anything really that special with games though. And I personally think the system should be the same price or cheaper than the ps4 as is. Because implying that the camera makes up for the cost implies that the xbox one is a $400 system, which it is not.
