What aren't you accepting? Just because you knew about the game back then doesn't mean the majority of Wii U owners did too.
The original Bayonetta is probably the best example of a 3rd person action game around. It's responsive, fluid and satisfying to play, the story was a little bit cheesey but I eventually embraced it as part of the games charm.
Judging from this thread though it doesn't seem to be an exciting title for Nintendo fans, and it's not helped by the fact the original games debuted on Xbox 360/Playstation 3.
Whilst not a system seller for me, I think along with a new Smash Brothers/Mario Kart I will finally grab a Wii U.

I don't personally. The first one got repetitive fast, the story--which I know isn't what one goes into these games for--was cringe worthy and I had to force myself to finish it. All flash no substance, it's practically Platinum game's credo at this point. Considering the first didn't exactly set the world ablaze the second would be lucky to get half the sales and will likely get far less than that I think.
Think its gonna flop super hard, this genre is not a massive seller, and being only on Wii U that market is now tiny.
I'd buy it if it came out for Playstation 3 or 4. I loved the first one on PS3..

Unless a game gets incredible reviews across the board and justifies the hype, like The Last of Us for example, every exclusive on every platform is overhyped, be it slightly or by a great margin.
Why do you point out Nintendo fans doing this when other fanbases have done exactly the same for months on end?
Niche game.
Personally I love Platinum Games after Vanquish and Bayonetta for the PS3/360. Really looking forward to Bayonetta 2 for WiiU. However being a WiiU game, sales will take an impact. The most hardcore of gamers will still buy this, but it won't get many "casual" sales, from people just browsing at the store. Sucks, but I'm glad Nintendo acquired a good exclusive.
P.S. The games in my sig are my Most Wanted. Left is the most wanted, and right is the least. Bayonetta is what 7th there? 3rd for WiiU.

Day one baby!! Nintendo need to advertise the shit out of this game, after Mario Kart 8 they will have a bit more of an install base to aim at.

I point out Nintendo fans because this specific game franchise wasn't even available for them until now. Now all of a sudden its amazing.
Are you shitting me!? It's hands down the best hack n slash game ever. I'm thinking of buying a Wii U just so I can play it.
