he has no obligation what so ever to say anything about the PS4, he can talk about any console he wants and leave out any other one all the time. 

Why not? Was it top secret info that PS4 was undertracked? Ofcourse he can talk about whatever he wants but. Why omit that info. Doing that he gives the message that PS4 sales here are ~1:1 but Xbone are massively undertracked, implying the Xbone might have outsold the PS4

Maybe thats a mistake, as like anyone who does these kinds of things will tell you its impossible to be 100% accurate all the time. Things change, different retailers get different numbers, game announcements get delayed or changed. Its not easy and frankly risky.

Maybe I'll lay off saying anything about numbers or giving you a guys hints at whats gonna be announced. If thats what people from here want from me then so be it. I never went into any thread ANYWHERE on this forum in the 6 years I've been here and tried dragging peoples names through the mud. If I disagreed with them I confronted them in person directly.

Again I apologize for this off topic post mods, I just saw too much discussion going on in here about me, and it had little to do with my assessment of what February NPD would look like and more just bashing me. Hopefully this will end that thread of discussion.

It's sad to see this kind of post come from such a respected poster. This thread had been quite a bloodbath, surprising given how everything was actually doing well. There's always some (not saying anyone in this thread or indeed anyone in particular) who just can't be happy unless their system of choice is on top, and will argue with anyone who gives reason as to why it may not be in the future.

 

It is quite sad really. I know I've said it before, but why can't people just get along? Is it that hard for people to be neutral and happy for successes, and sad for failures, despite the company involved? I don't see why it should be.

 

As Carl said, don't let it get to you. I've been here for nearly 4 years, and I've seen a lot of credibility in your posts. Not seeing you around anymore would be a big blow to me and many others with regards to this site 

 

Anyway, returning on topic, those numbers are pretty worrying for the Wii U (referring to 3rd party SW). Nintendo will have to really do something drastic to convince publishers the system is worth sticking with in the long run.

LOL, If we see no boost fromTF we cant deduce squat. Man, you people are acting silly. I dont expect any boost for either console because instead of a drop the hames will sustain sales.

Didn't you say that Xbox One sold more at Titanfall week than PS4 in your store? I forget what you said exactly, but you definitely mentioned a boost to Xbox One recently.

A boost for Ps4 nationwide at Target (organized to push the console that particular week) but Ps4 at my store alone > XB1 sales in the district for the previous 7 days. But that was only after one day of TF for XB1. I havent checked since which Im sure things have changed. Titanfall probably helped move consoles during the week. 

However, what im saying in the post that you quote was that if there was no TF, MGS or Infamous then I'd expect a drop in march from Feb. So if there is no increase in March how can we deduce NPD was adjusting the numbers? I would expect similar numbers for both consoles next month.
