This discussion wasn't about Vita. But if you want to be exhaustive, please note that in every region last week PS4+PS3+Vita > WiiU+3DS+Wii


Putting dead numbers combined to make one look good doesn't really mean much. Pokemon XY + Pokemon Red+Blue+Yellow > Vita games in 2013. See wat i did there? Wii is dead, Vita needs to be combined to beat something else doesn't look good.

Edit: Thats why Sony combines PSP+Vita numbers together.

With Ps4 = 35k and Knack = 17k,..... it seems that the PS4 Knack bundles have sold out.

Knack hype really dissapeared fast, that it to say, if there was really a Knack hype in Japan at all

This thread is funny because it appears that only me remenber somethings.

I remember that when WiiU first got below 20K, everyone was like"LoL, bomba, its dead", And there is people here saying that PS4 "hopefully" will stop around 15K. Yeah, no bias at all.

I remenber that in the week of launch of soul sacrifice, vita for the first time ever surpassed 3DS, and stayed that way for 2 weeks(it had a bundle too). Now he barely touch 3DS and people are saying that was the great accomplishment ever.

I ahte to say this, but someone was rigth: When nintendo stuff fail expectation-> lol bomba, When sony stuff fail expectations -> the market has changed. :/

We were discussing it this week and he was saying how I was overestimating PS4 and underestimating WiiU (I said 30-40k for WiiU, so it would be close).

Dat Knack. Is that all only the game or were there some bundles left? 

Looks like Vita should replace PS4 at the top as early as next week?

I think the 3DS should have something to say about that, but you never know.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

That's irrelevant.  The original point here is that Japan is not all over Nintendo and that Sony having higher hardware sales is nothing noteworthy given that it is on and off with Japan on which one is in the lead.  You bringing that up only makes you seem immature.

"notably"? It's doing absolutely terrible in Europe. Worse than Japan, considering the size of the market. On that note, PS4 is also notably doing worse in Japan than other regions, considering it just launched.


If VGChartz is to be believed (and where else do we even have numbers for Europe?), the Wii U is doing worse in Japan than in Europe by a good bit.  You say considering the size of the market, but Europe's market not really that big.  It's roughly the same as Japan, and even then I was talking about the totals to begin with.  

I think you're not getting the point here, though.  He was talking about how people think Japan is Nintendo's market.  I was bringing up that the Wii U is weaker in Japan than other regions to point out the fact that Nintendo is in roughly the same position (as a whole) in Japan as it is in other countries in relation to Sony.  Him bringing up PS4 & PS3 vs Wii U in other regions is irrelevant to this point.
