Okay, superchunk. I get that you are trying really, really, really hard to appear as the most delusional member on this website, but is this really how you want to be remembered? As a Bears fan?

Shut it packer.

I'm just done with others.

Well that's fine, everyone has their own opinion, mine just happens to be the opposite of yours.

I totally agree, and couldn't of said it better.

So the common fact of "Nintendo games have legs" is imaginary? They sell at full price for the life of the console. Sure at lower numbers as time goes on, but that is solely due to the potential market for that game reaching its max.

Not imaginary, just hugely exaggerated. Many of their games don't have much in the way of legs, but Nintendo's philosophy dictates that they maintain their price just the same. A lot of old 3DS games still MRSP for $39.99 even though they're widely available for sub $10 on the used market.

For now. You see how that has developed for other companies. And the Wii Sports Club crap is just inexcusable.

No its not.

Wii Sports club is a per game option where each game is heavily upgraded. It has better controls and a superb online system.

You then buy only the sports you really liked, such as tennis. Or even rent it just for party because that's the only time you'd play it anyways. Its very pro-consumer and high value.

I talk about the stuff, that you rent the game for a week or so. Well, you can buy the parts (pretty expensive), but this renting system is really evil.

If you're willing to give up playing so many great games over something so petty, then it's your loss.

I owned 17 PS3 games and only one game I wished I saved my PS3 to play.

17 3rd party on Wii, 25 Wii VC games, and currently own 22 Wii U games (not including VC).

Right now there are only three non-Nintendo games (only one of which is not available for Wii U) that I'd want. I can live without the limited amount of gold among the vast crap that is offered by others. Plus, even in those rare cases where something of value is offered, I could potentially just grab it on Steam as a complete edition (as others mentioned above) for like $30 6 months later.

People will give you shit for this thread but you are just speaking the truth. The truth hurts though, that's why so many will say the OP is flawed.

You do understand that you are going to miss out on the next Duke Nukem in 8 years, right?

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

How so?

After I owned Wii Sports / Play and others, I realized the only time I actually wanted to play those was at parties. So I'd much rather spend $1 to play it for 24hrs on those rare parties where we want to play that game than spend $5 to own it and play it a couple times.

Its just like renting a movie vs buying. In many cases, it could be the better option. OR like the cases where people rent a game and then go buy it later. The rental allowed them to understand if they really wanted to own it long term.

Its a great concept and I'd prefer it over the commonly half-finished products that game demos are.
